Du’â Niswf-é-Sha’baan-ul-mu’azzam

Bismillaahir-rahmaanir-rahiim.

Allaahumma yaa zal-manni walaa yumannu ‘alaÿhi. Yaa zal-jalaali wal ik’raami. Yaa zat-twawli wal in’aami. Laa ilaaha illaa anta zwahral-laaji-iina wa jaaral mustajiiriina. Wa amaanal khaa-ifiina. Allaahumma in kunta katabtanii ‘indaka fii ummil kitaabi shaqiyyann aw mahroumann aw matw’roudann aw muqtarann ‘alayya fir-rizqi famhu. Allaahumma bifadwlika shaqaawatii wa hirmaanii wa twardii waqtitaara rizqii wa athbitnii ‘indaka fii ummil kitaabi sa’iidan-marzouqan-muwaffaqan-lil khaÿraati. Fa innaka qulta wa qawlukal haqqu fii kitaabikal munzali ‘alaa lisaani nabiyyikal mursali. Yamhullaahu maa yashaa-u wa yuthbitu wa ‘indahu ummul kitaabi. Ilaahi bit-tajalliyil a’zwami fii laÿlatin-niswfi min shahri sha’baanal mukarrami. Allatii yufraqu fiihaa kullu amrinn hakiim. Wa yub’ramu antakshifa ‘anna minal balaa-i maa ta’lamu wa maalaa ta’lamu wamaa anta bihi a’lamu. Innaka antal a’azzul akramu. Wa swallallaahu ta’aalaa ‘alaa sayyidinaa wa mawlaanaa Muhammadin-wa ‘alaa aalihi wa swahbihi wa sallama. Walhamdu lillaahi rabbil ‘aalamiin.

Traduction française :

Au nom dAllah, le Clément, le Miséricordieux.

Ô Allah, Tu arroses tes faveurs à tout le monde et personne ne peut te faire de faveurs. Ô Toi qui possèdes majesté et honneur. Ô distributeur de bienfaits et recompenses. Il n’y a pas d’autre divinité que Toi. Tu aides le nécessiteux et accorde refuge aux réfugiés et Tu octroies la paix aux peureux. Ô Allah, si dans la mère des livres Tu as en ta possession, Tu m’as inscrit comme quelqu’un qui ne soit pas digne de salut, ou privé, ou rejeté, ou dépourvu de nourriture. Donc, Ô Allah, par Ta grâce, supprime tous ces malheurs à mon égard. Et dans la mère de tous livres Tu as en ta possession, établis-moi comme quelqu’un béni, avec abondance et bonnes actions. En effet, Tu dis la vérité dans le livre que Tu as envoyé par le biais de la langue de Ton Prophète béni, qu’Allah change ou confirme ce qu’Il veut. Et avec lui, la mère de tous les livres. Ô mon Seigneur, par la splendeur de Ta manifestation divine, dans cette quinzième nuit du mois béni de Sha’bân, durant laquelle Tu émets tout sage commandement. Enlève-nous tous les malheurs et épreuves dont nous avons connaissance et d’autres pas, et Toi tu les connais tous, vraiment Tu es le puissant et le généreux. Que les faveurs et paix d’Allah le très haut soit sur notre Chef Muhammad et sur sa famille et ses compagnons. Louanges à Allah Seigneur des mondes.

English translation:

In the name of Allah, the Merciful, the Compassionate.

O Allah! You shower favours on everyone and no one can do You any favour. O the Possessor of Majesty and Honour, O the Distributor of bounty and rewards. There is no one worthy of worship except You. You help the fallen. And provide refuge to the refugees. And give peace to those who are in fear. O Allah! If in the mother of all books that is with You, You have written me down as someone who is doubtful of achieving salvation, or deprived, or rejected or without enough sustenance. Then, O Allah, with Your grace  remove all of these misfortunes from me and in the mother of all books that is with You, establish me as someone who is blessed, with abundant provision and charitable good deeds. Indeed, what You said in the book You sent through the tongue of Your blessed Prophet is true that Allah changes and establishes what He wants. And with Him is the mother of all books. O my Lord! for the sake of Your divine manifestation. On this fifteenth night of the blessed month of Sha’baan, in which You issue all wise and irrevocable decrees remove from us all calamities and hardships, those that we know about as well as those that we don’t, while You know everything. Truly, You are the Most Powerful, Most Generous. And may Allah the Exalted shower blessings and peace on our chief Muhammad and on his family and his companions. And all praise is for Allah, Lord of the worlds.
