Daroûd sharîf – Salutation sacrée sur le saint Prophète [s.a.w.]
Le Daroûd-sharîf est la formule de salutation sacrée lue (“envoyée”) sur notre bien-aimé saint Prophète Hazrat Muhammad Mustwafâ [s.a.w.]. Il est considéré comme la clef de toutes les actes de prière (‘ibâdats).
Il est très valeureux puisque non seulement c’est un ordonnancement coranique donc un ordre divin, mais également cette précision qu’il est fait par Allah ta’âlâ Lui-même et Ses anges !
En effet, Allah précise en ces termes : “Certes Allah et Ses anges envoient le ‘daroûd’ sur le Prophète. Ô les croyants, envoyez-lui le daroûd et le Salut avec respect”. [soûrah 33, verset 56]
Hazrat Anas bin Mâlik [r.a.] rapporte que le Saint-Prophète [s.a.w.] a dit : “Celui qui lit un (seul) daroûd sur moi, Allâh le bénira dix fois (en récompenses, ‘thawâb’), dix de ses péchés seront pardonnés et il sera élevé en dix grades spirituels (darjah). [Sunân an-Nasâï 1297, livre 13, hadîth n°119]
Il existe plusieurs types de daroûds, mais le plus basique, appelé ‘Daroûd-sharîf’, se lit comme suit :
The Darood-shareef is the sacred formulae of salutation read (“sent”) on our beloved holy Prophet Hazrat Muhammad Mustwafa [s.a.w.]. It is considered as the key of all prayer deeds (‘ibaadats).
It is greatly valued not only because it is a divine koranic order, but also with this precicion that is done by almighty Allah Himself along with His angels!
Indeed, Allah precise in these terms: “Verily Allah and His angels send the ‘darood’ on the Prophet. O you believers, send him the darood and Salutation respectfully”. [sourah 33, verse 56]
Hazrat Anas bin Mâlik [r.a.] narrates that the holy Prophet [s.a.w.] said : “He who reads a single darood upon me, Almighty Allah will bless him ten times (in reward, ‘thawâb’), ten of his sins will be forgiven and he will be increased ten times in stages (darjah). [Sunân an-Nasâï 1297, book 13, hadith n°119]
There exist several types of daroods, however the most basic one, called ‘Darood-shareef’, is read as follows:

Allaahumma swalli ‘alaa sayyidinaa Muhammadin-wa ‘alaa aali sayyidinaa Muhammadin-wa baarik wa sallim
Traduction française :
Ô Allah, envoie Tes faveurs sur notre chef Muhammad et sur la famille de notre chef Muhammad et bénie-le et salue-le
English translation:
O Allah, send your favours upon our chief Muhammad and upon the family of our chief Muhammad and bless him and salute him
